Help regarding mmcm
Hello everyone,
I am new to this all ps3 hacking thing. I recentely got a ps3 from a friend and it is supposed to be jailbroken, and it has some games installed in it. Now i want to install new games. How can i do that?? My ps3 has an icon named "mmcm" but it doesn't start up. What can be possibly wrong with my console?? Any help is appreciated.

Ps3 no power
I know this isn't really a repair forum and if in the wrong place please move it for me. So the other day I cut my ps3 2001b on and it came on to a yellow light no video and high fan speeds plus like a burning smell like it was putting out a lot of heat. Could the psu be the problem or something else?

Mass Effect 1 BLES01774 not showing up in MMCM
My bad if this has been answered before, but I searched the forum and didn't see it anywhere:
So as the title says, Mass Effect 1 isn't showing up in Multiman for me. I'm running version MMCM 4.80.
The file came with a separate file that has "3.55 eboot patch" and contains an Eboot.bin file and Param.SFO file. I looked at a tutorial on Youtube and tried replacing the Eboot.bin and Param.SFO file that were in the USDIR folder and PS3_Game folder respectively. I did this on my PC before I transferred the file to the external hard drive that I use on my PS3. But it still doesn't show up.

Quick Q's
First, I'm planning in buying a Dead Island disc for my ps3 containing CFW 4.78, will the disc work and i'll be able to play?
And second, When i put the disc in the ps3 Do i start the game via multiman first then select it or just select in on the XMB screen?

Weird Issue
CECHK01, 4.81 CEX rebug.
So for days I have been playing fine on this monitor I have via HDMI. Today I played a game for awhile, went to switch to a diff backup, and didnt restart the console first. So i got the "unsupported data" error(it says unsupported data instead of the name of the game). This happened before I wasnt too worried about it. A quick restart always fixed the issue. However the screen just stayed black whenever I turned on the console now. I had sound though. I was really worried. I even took out the HDD and tested it with CrystalDisk. It passed fine. I tried safe mode and what not but the screen just always stayed black. After I tried all this, I plugged it into my other monitor just to try (with no HDD in) and it worked. Then I tried in the normal one i was using with no HDD and it didnt work. Tried safe mode with no hdd and it didnt work. I put the HDD back in and put it on the screen it worked with, and it still works. Its back to normal completely. When I first got on it prompted me for HDMI output and thats it. Its completely back to normal. Except it still doesnt work with the other screen. The other screens HDMI port still works though because I tested it using it as a second screen via HDMI for my PC after all this. How do I fix this, because I really don't want to use my primary PC monitor for the PS3. I like to watch streams as I play on the PS3. If it matters I am using optical for audio, which I had to set again after safe mode since I unplugged it during all this testing. Whats up with this? lol
also im leaving the other monitor unplugged for a bit to maybe reset it but i doubt it will work

Need help
Hey i just recently bought ps3 it has no hard drive and on demo mode (didnt know this when i bought it) i put a ps3 hard drive in from old console and it can't detect hard drive anyways to fix this and after that how would i get out of demo mode. so basically how do i get out of demo mode and detect new hard drive (not original) i tried putting into safe mode just wont detect hard drive or usb for update.

PS3 Slim Unknown short?
Hey there.
I've got this PS3 ive sold but not sent as of recently, as i was moving a couple games over today vai filezilla direct wire to wire (ps3 to pc/laptop) midway of one of the transfers the ps3 shut off no warning, no red light completely dead, i pressed the power button, it beeped and red light lit up, turned it on and it shut off the moment it started up, however i opened it up since and removed the psu and replaced it back on as i've seen this happen but its not happened To me till now, and all was working good, but the moment the PS3 goes in a cirten way (picked up and moved) it shuts off, but since the first shutoff was when it was dead still just transfering files, am afrade it might happen again.
Here's a video showing you what i mean, sorry about the crappy bed/background, being down a friend's house has its disadvangages..

Maximum power that can be supplied to usb devices when I go into SEN Enabler
Tomorrow I want to get a new console ID, but when I go into SEN Enabler I get a pop up message for usb devices and then it exits the aplication. Is there anyway to fix this? I don't even have usb's plugged in. I'm on REBUG 4.81 CEX and my model is CECHB01 :(

Tools "eating ram"!
Hello, PS3Hax so yesterday i format my pc and today with all ready up framework, updates and other stuff i go online play some mw3 and my tools like 5 different tools make my pc lagging like crazy i have my pc for like 1 year and is just a pc for tools and other ps3 cfw stuff the pc have 6gb of ram and now i open 3 tools the ram goes all to 100% and the pc freezes but after i format my pc the pc run to 10 tools at time no joke. So if anyone now what should i do please help me.
P.S no i will not buy more ram if after i format my pc i had like 10 tools running at same time i think the ram is not the problem

Jail breaking Super Slim CECH-4201A
I need help guys,
I'm new to PS3 stuff, long story short I got a used but working PS3 Super Slim CECH-4201A running firmware 4.80. I would like to jailbreak to put multiman on it to play few games here and there. After doing some research I realized my version is not very friendly when i comes to JB.
What are my options? I'm pretty good with soldering iron
Also it seems that my console only came with 12gb internal storage, and I see it has HD slot where i can purchase the tray and load 500Gb HD load games on it thru multiman right?? correct me if I'm wrong is this is not going to work.

PS4 controller not pairing
I can't pair my ps4 controller to my ps4
The light is pulsating yellow, the controller shows up in the Bluetooth devices as a dualshock 4 controller however the light on the left it's not green when i press the ps button nothing happens.
I tried to reset both the controller and the console but notthing seems to help
Also when i try to press the ps button without the usb cable nothing happens, the controller doen't turn on i tried with a diferent battery same thing happend

Webman Network Games
Hey all,
So I recently found out that Webman can load games over your network and you don't have to transfer them to the PS3 HDD and take up space, which sounds awesome. I have 2 HDDs connected to my router, and I can access both of them fine using my computer and all, I even have one of them setup for SMB with the PS2 OPL and it works amazingly (I just have to load the OPL app on the PS2 and all my games are there!). My dilemma is, I would like to do the same for my PS3. One of my HDDs has PS3 games on it and I would like to be able to have my PS3 load them through Webman over the router without me having to open up the PS3netsrv on my PC/laptop and loading the server for it to work. Is that possible? Is it possible to share my HDD as an SMB so that Webman can detect it on boot on my router without me having to open up the PS3netsrv on my laptop?

Nier not launching on Rebug 4.81 Multiman. Getting error code 8001003A. Help?
Hey guys was wondering if anyone could help me with this.
I transfered Nier to my internal HDD with FTP and tried launching it with multiman and I get this message "An error occurred during the start operation. (8001003A)". I tried fixing permissions and it still doesn't seem to be working.
I also tried launching through the disc and I get a black screen. Am I missing a step somewhere?

Upgrading internal HDD
Hi people! As I'm new to PS3 scene, I need your help.
I know this have been talked a lot, but I cannot find a reliable information.
I own a PS3 slim with one of the latest rebug version. I bought it with 1tb internal HDD size.
I would like to put all my PS3 / PS2 / PS1 / PSP games on it and 1tb looks small. I'm almost near to achieve the max capacity of this HDD!
Can anyone confirm (really!) if it possible to install a 1,5tb HDD ? what about 1,75 or 2tb?
If anyone of this sizescan be installed, do I need to buy any specific brand and rpm speed?
Last but not least, is it simple as:
1- replacing the HDD (phusically)
2- boot on safe mode and format the HDD.
3- install the last CFW used (or could I install the most recent rebug version?)
4- install multiman and othe apps (do I need to install rebug toolbox and webman? or do they come with the rebug firmware?)
5- restore game collection.
