8002f281 when updating
i have a ps3 3004 with cobra ode when i first get it it was without a HD i inserted one into it it asked for an update when i did it i have 8002f281 error when installing the update i thought it was my HD i tested 2 others the same thing always the same error but not always in a certain point sometimes at 52% 78% i never got passed 78% any solutions ?

PS3 3.55 STUCK, can't upgrade (INTERESTING ONE!!!)

I was using 4.80 rebug dex, and wanted to downgrade it to 3.55.
I didnt know exactly was i using rebug 999 downgrader or rogero.
However now i have 3.55 firmware.
But when ps3 loading there is official ps3 logo, and i have debug settings.
When i tried to upgrade firmware i get errors data corrupted (80029cca) same thing when i'm trying through recovery mode.
i cant turn on QA flag,
Please Help me!

My console freezes when I try to load black ops 2
My console freezes when I try to load black ops 2. I tried to copy black ops 2 onto PS3 via multi-man. I kept on freezing when I tried to load it. So I deleted it from multi-man. Now it doesn't load from disc. I get a black screen. I'm on Dex.
Does anyone know how to fix it?

Final Fantasy Type 0 w/ english patch on PS3
I've had the game for a long time for PSP but I've been unable to get it to work on PS3. I've tried every method I've read and I have read multiple places that it indeed should work but I've tried as mini as a remaster and I've kept it as ISO and tried it using the PSP remaster launcher with Cobra none work. On the remaster launcher it shows a black loading screen but freezes.

Artemis vs OGP/COP cheat on Trails of Cold Steel II. A bit confused
I have a PS3 fat with Rebug 4.81.2 and I'm trying to use a cheat code for 'Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II'. I came across this link when searching;

The top line looked like an Artemis code just short a 0 at the start, but it doesn't seem to be working. Other Artemis codes have been no problem. The lower lines, if I understand correctly, are the original hex string in PS3 memory and the lower line is the replacement to enable the cheat.
Is there either ;
A) A way to convert the COP to artemis format (assuming the top line is incorrect) or
B) an easy-ish way to use the OGP/COP code on the PS3. I've read a few really old posts that talked about running the PS3 through a PC that would let you change the hex values of current memory values, but that's more work than I think I'd like to put in. Unless there's a more current/easy way to go about it all. I'm not sure if that's a code that should be used through rebug's PS3MAPI that's included in the toolkit.
My only other thought was that the top code might be a CodeUnique code, which means I'd have to edit the address for Artemis if I remember correctly.

3.41 - what to do next ?

Its been a while since I have had to do anything to my ps3's. SO I have completley forgotten what to do and to be honest things may have moved on since I last toyed with my PS3

cech 3004 strange problem

turn on, get green light, after 2-3 sec, get no light.
when i press power button get red light constant, and again, if i press power again get green, and no light.

Black Screen then return to XMB
Hello ps3hax now i am here because i download the BLES01298 that is Need for Speed The Run and i try to load the game but gives me black screen and then returns me to xmb :( i had a problem with metro a short time ago i solved because i had to change the boot mode to Release Mode but this time this game dont work with that method i am on dex 4.80 i use webman to load my games if anyone can help me out. Thanks.

FTP Issues
I don't use FTP as much as I used to. But I know when copying lots of small files, the speed slows way down.
If the games are working, then most likely all the files are there. You can test the game in multiman. Go to the game and press ([]), then choose Test with (X). It will then verify all the folders and files of the game.
I think maybe DMZ will help. Because it puts the PS3 outside of the firewall of your router. So all ports will always be open.

I'm having problems with teensy++ 2.0
Hello everyone.
I'm trying to dump my nands on my CECHA-01 using a teensy++ 2.0.
- I've lost my 3.3 voltage regulator
- I'm using an external ATX psu to feed 3.3v to my teensy.
Here's what I've done so far:
- I got the teensy all wired to a 360 clip.
- All the software & drivers is all installed on my PC. (Everything is detected fine in device manager)
- Teensy is loaded with current SBE nandway files (via ps3devwiki).
- I cut the red 5v wire in the USB cable and powering by an external ATX psu, feeding 3.3v directly to the teensy.
So far so good.
Now, here's where my issue occurs:
1. I connected my teensy to my PC and feeding 3.3v from external ATX psu to the teensy, It detects in windows perfect.
2. I read the teensy power rails with my multimeter, shows 3.35v. Perfect again.
3. Now... when my 360 clip gets connected to the nand, both my PS3 motherboard & my teensy both lose all voltage; Everything drops to 0.04v on both the PS3 motherboard & the teensy, resulting in the teensy to also drop out of windows. If I remove the clip from the nand the teensy shows back up in windows and it's back to 3.35v and the teensy is back to working fine.
So basically:
if teensy is connected to nand = 0.04v
if teensy is disconnected from nand = 3.35v
- I've tried wiring a 3.3v & ground from the ATX psu directly to the playstation motherboard like some have suggested, but then my ATX psu won't turn on.
- I've tried to feed only 3.3v from the ATX psu to the PS3 motherboard and let it get the ground through the teensy the ATX psu will stay on, but the PS3 motherboard & teensy voltage both drop to 0.04v.
I feel like everything leads me to believe this could be a tristate issue, But I thought external powering doesn't need tristate grounded?
I just want to be able to connect my teensy to my nand without everything dropping to 0.04v, resulting in nothing being recognized.
Any ideas would be a huge help.

Ps4 full dump cheap programmer ( first full dump )
Hi I used to write about the ability to read and modify the dump and decided to show you how to read the dump using a low-cost programmer for 3$.
My desoldering memory:

Memory reading takes about 2 minutes record of about six minutes should also be aware of the hidden area to be read to be in the program options to enable her show talking about the area SECURED OTP.
Dump, of course, can be modified and saved in the eeprom.
To read and write, you can also use the finished clip to pull out the memory

The Package for CECH-3003B
Hi all,
From what I saw in most threads that dates back to 2016 (maybe I missed newer threads) the cursed CECH-3003B is bullet proof :evil: , can't be modded without a chip that cost more than it's current value, forget the crazy historical value.
But when I ask shops around here, they offer me "The package", they did not give me details but they understand it's CECH-3003B, they said come see it done, it costs around 21 dollar, what you get is your HDD filled with games, next time you pay 21 dollar and get your HDD filled again but your forum says nothing is possible without hardware mod, but 21 dollars? that's way below any hardware mod so...
Anyone knows what is this Package method and whether I can do it myself? I don't know what is the software version on my PS3 because I decided to keep it new since it can't be modded.
If there is any chance to use this PS3 without chips/hardware please let me know because it's already 2017, not going to bother with this again. :hmpf:

Hot Shot's Golf Out of Bounds Problem
Hello everyone. I'm having quite a problem running HSG:OOB on the latest multiMAN. If it helps, I am running on PlayerKP's 4.81 CFW. When I launch the game, it will ask to install to the internal HDD. When I click X to confirm, it tells me "Installation Failed." I've tried everything to my knowledge to get this to work and it's not budging. Can anyone help here? Thanks!

retroarch cores
i have installed retroarch as I want to play some spectrum games but cant find the cores and with the newer versions 1.3 and 1.36+ the core download does not work so I have 1.0.0.2 installed but where/how to I get/add cores can anyone help please as google is not very helpful just sent to the github page where you can download the files to compile them which I cant.

Multiman problem with 3 game covers
For some reason latest Multiman 4.81.02 won't put a proper cover for Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII, and Devil May Cry HD Collection, all 3 are ISO format on external hdd. I read on some other forum where someone said you could just add a png of the covers 260x300 so I did that. I added them to the PS3ISO folder and it overwrote the pngs that were there but it did not change anything somehow. I have rebooted 10 or 15 times and they never update. Those 3 games show like a rectangular icon but no cover. Is there any way to make them show the proper cover?
