Downgrade from 4.46

Hello,
so i got PS3 with OFW 4.46. I used E3 flasher to get dump and write it back. I used Rogero patcher 0.05 as always and was trying to instal 4.41 rogero cfw. But after checking for about 30sec it gives me no applicable data found. I flashed patched dump 2 times and everything is the same. Tried even different flash drive. What could this be?

8002F157 is the code I get tried formating HD swapping out HD QA is on trying to update to Rogero 4.41 or any of them Ive tried updated and I get this everytime :(

Hi there, can someone here help me to add a few codes for Resident Evil 6 ? I know there's a lot of service for that help people to mod their save games but doesn't provide adding codes i guess .

So is there someone here can help me to add a few of the codes ?

Hi folks

Ok, so I managed to do my first 2 downgrades with e3 flasher. The first on a console with a faulty drive and the second with my own with no problems. Installed multiman on both and my personal 1 works like a charm. The other, with the faulty drive won't as the spinning disc doesn't appear. Is there a discless solution somewhere? By the way, I tested the DVD rom in another machine and it works, appears to be a prob on the mobo (accepts the disc, seems to reset after a few second by releasing the disc and then grabbing it again but won't spin up):joyman:

3k3y Questions..

so still a little curious how this new 3k3y firmware is working for everyone. i totally understand the process... boot off of an original disc then after the ps3 authorizes the goods, then you swap in your game, and go on your merry way.

on a side note:

its 2013 people... who seriously thought the hypothetical "magic swap disc" **** from back in the day would still be a viable way to play back ups on these "unhackable" machines? thought sony would of learned their lesson with that on the ps2.

anyways.. what im really interested in is the homebrew. have people had any problems running any of the goodies that the lovely devs have made for us? any problems with online? any problems in general? able to do anything special that wasnt mentioned by 3k3y? anyway to use this exploit to do any other cool **** without using a ODE?

now i know this is mainly a "downgrade=>CFW=>FTW" kinda place and i can totally dig that. im just asking here because it seems that there are alot of senior members who know their **** about the ins and outs of this machine better than most. i trust alot of what they have to say because they all know what they are doing.

i know i could go to an ODE support site and some guy with a 3k3y logo in his sig (no offense bubba!! ;)) will answer my questions but dont blame me if i think that opinion would be slightly biased, if you know what i mean.

the reason why im asking is because i recently got a ps3 back after selling 2 of mine in the past. when i had them awhile back, there was no 3.55 hack, no anything.. so it was still a locked system.

ive already done all my homework (mainly so i wont be shunned for asking straight up noob questions) so i know what i have and i know how to go about doing the downgrade. im most likely planning on sending my system away to someone on here to downgrade my machine in the near future.

im just curious to see what these new options open up... if anything and i want to see how peoples experience with this new update is going.

No Disc Icon on XMB

Hello,
I don't have the Disc Icon on my XMB both game and video option. I think the drive is good because when i insert a game or a movie, the circle in the right upper corner starts to spin. I i've tried the remarried process, i've tried the option in mM that rebuilds the BluRay and cleaned the the laser lens. Nothing worked. Is there anything more i can do?

i scratched a trace on cpu trying to get ihs off so ps3 gives rlod when i switch it on......

so catch u all in the next gen console scene

Hi, i found you guys bcs my problem. A read many things in this fórum and i discovery i'm a dummy with my PS3. I really need your help.

I've a slim PS3 cech-2504b with a dying original 320hdd. I tried change that hdd with 4.41 ofw but i dunno how to do it or was impossible with this ofw. In PSN fóruns said me to wait for ofw 4.46... and the problem isnt solved...

i'm #$%$ ...

Please help me.

Question about a hdd change

So 2 weeks ago I installed cfw (rebug) on my PS3 (250gb), everything was working fine & then not..... power failure more less. But thats not the Problem right now.... is at a repair shop right now

I got a new ps3 (120gb) , which I was able to jailbreak again (rebug LITE again ;) ) and everything is fine.

So now my question, lets assume my "old" Ps3 is unfixable, but its 250gb HDD is/should be still fine and has Rebug 4.41.2 Lite installed.

Can I put this HDD in my "new" PS3, which has the same CFW installed & don't have to worry about it being formatted?
BOTH HDD HAVE REBUG 4.41 LITE INSTALLED !

I'm concerned about 3-4 save games, which I didn't back up on my PC prior bringing it to the repair shop.... and my PSN related stuff on the 250gb drive.:angel:

I'm having a Green Yellow Green only light. What is wrong?

I just noticed it last night when I was sitting close to my PS3 Slim 250GB. I was checking the temp reading from MM. I was on the MM XMB only watching the temp and after about 30min the temp was steady CPU: 68C RSX: 66C.

Somehow, I noticed the main power led alternate from green to yellow to green and so on but the PS3 was on and it didn't shut off "maybe it was doing before but I was not noticing it, I don't know". I read this somewhere "Regardless of any light combination, if the indicator light turns yellow, your PS3 has almost certainly experienced a major error and requires service." This is what worries me.

I am currently on 4.40CFW Rogero v1.03.

What do you think causing this? Do I need to do anything urgently if it's a serious issue?

This may seem like a really stupid question i dont know, i have been away from the ps3 scene for over a year i think and i recently upgraded from 3.55 kmeaw cfw to 4.41 arch cfw but i now see that there is a 4.46 habib cfw out and i was just wondering what is the difference between 4.41 arch cfw and 4.46 habib cfw is there a major difference and is it worth the upgrade again? many thanks

FACTORY SERVICE MODE on Rogero 3.55 Downgrader - Is it possible? Remarry Logic Board

Multiman doesn't work due to the Logic Board issue so trying to remarry a new logic board onto this unit here.

I am currently stuck on Rogero 3.55 Downgrader firmware. I tried using my PSP (5.50 Gen-3) as a PS3jig but it never works. (I was on 6.60Pro-6 before and that didnt work too.)

I am trying to use my PSP as a PS3jig and I get all those codes coming up (on the psp) when I press POWER and EJECT right away. BUT

The PROBLEM is that the ps3 just turns on as normal and never goes to Factory Service Mode..which is really frustrating. Without being able to do this..I can't seem to remarry my logic board wouldnt i?

Just a reminder, I am on ROGERO 3.55 Downgrader.. Would this be the issue? If I were on OFW 3.55, would this had worked perfectly fine?

Please help? I am on the verge on giving up on the PS3..
