Finally Banned just need to confirm few things
Alright so I'm banned after many years. both my psn account and console.
To confirm:
- I need a PSID from another PS3. (which is showed in multiman sys information correct?)
- I can patch it to my ps3 using PSIDPatch.
- I am unbanned, and now i can make a new psn account and login

my friend is willing to give me his cfw psid but I dont want us both to get banned :$

Though this is definitely not front page worthy, I thought it best to make people aware of it:
Personally I would not install these, even with a flasher handy, its just not worth it, but for completion and in a quest to max out my MD5 database, I wanted to alert the scene to it.

Slim USB Not Working, what's can be the problem.
Hello.
Maybe somebody had the same issue, I bought this PS3 with stacked disk inside, took out the disk (there where couple of them) and when it booted saw the message that new HDMI device and that I need to add controller, I connected controller through usb but lights didn't blink, measured power in USB port there where 5v. after tried other USB, same problem connected mp3 player it is charging good. disassembled ps3 to checked the ways, they looked normally checked the ways to C bridge , the ways are also good.
so my question is, can I test USB with something else, maybe re flashing flash,
this problem can appear only if CXD9963GB is damaged ? and there is any other way to pare the controller ? And as I understood slim has only 2 usb ports , maybe other can be fount on the Bord ? only 2 usb ports for CXD9963GB look strange.

Upgrade from 3.55.2
So I recently fixed my CECHE and I do not remember what I did but from what I can tell I have Rebug 3.55.2 on there. I want to put either a newer rebug or rogero on it. Do I need to do a DEX to CEX on it? It seems as though I have all the DEX options available to me. I was planning on going 3.55.2 to OFW 3.55 and then whatever I decide. Can I just flash whatever I what to put on? Do I need to dehash?

how to properly add cheats for ps3 games with CMP autotool
okay I've been trying to fix my Disgaea 4 game due to cheat problems, and since a friend of mine doesn't have his ps3 anymore, I'm stuck with making the cheat pkg myself.
now I've followed the picture guide for CMP auto tool 6.3, and added the cheat codes in the Mcode txt file, but i think somehow I'm doing something wrong either in that part or with editing the SFO before making the pkg (i never touched that).
Because everytime I tried to make the cheat pkg and install, none of the codes work, when they should as they did BEFORE, and even worse, crashes my game and forces me to quit/turn off the system at some parts..
now when I followed the mcode txt part of the guide, it wasn't exactly cleared to me how the cheats are supposed to be properly placed, so I was wondering if someone if had the same problem like i do for this game, or for any game in general, could show me their txt file to see how its supposed to be format and/or help me out with this situation.
I've been at this for a week now and this is starting to get annoying...so I'm hoping someone with knowledge of CMP auto tool 6.3 to help me out...

okay so i updated my cfw 2 ofw 4.46 :proud:
and im loving every single bit of it jk i just wanted 2 play online without sony
trying to sniff out my ps3 but i can downgrade back :) but i'll downgrade when Rebug 4.41 REX kums out!

PS3 slim cech-2008B data code 9d OFW 4.31
Twice updated on Ofw 4.40.
Connected clip E3,
removed the same dumps with 2 warnings.
one of them is a typical dump 4.40.
And the second is not:
Lv0ldr/Bootldr Corrupt Sequence Check:
Corruption found at offset: 0xFC0E00 - [WARNING]
dump enclose
Is it possible to continue our downgrade?

Slim Bluetooth chip needs repair (8002F1F9)
Hi everyone,
So I have spent countless hours searching across the internet in search of a solution to salvage my ps3 from the infinite boot loop.
FORTUNATELY I have done all the work and limited down the problem to what I am [almost]-edit* 100% positive (as I have just flashed a firmware to my ps3 bypassing bluetooth and it updated successfully) that it is the Bluetooth chip. I cannot find any guides for removing or repairing a slim Bluetooth chip. I know it is attached to the motherboard and I should get a new motherboard but it has a very old firmware that I refuse to give up (3.42+) so getting rid of the motherboard is not an option for me! Could someone direct me to where the Bluetooth chip is on the board and maybe point out any suggestions that might help me fix this.
P.S Illustrative pictures would rock, but hell i'll take anything.

Valid dump but what next?
I am following Baileys guide but since its been updated its somewhat confusing. I have a valid dump, I have byte reversed and extracted a nor dump. What do I do next? Do I byte reverse the extracted dump and rename the new file and then flash that back to the NOR chip? I don't remember doing this first time around. I would be grateful if someone could clarify.
When I get to the end, do I follow the 4.41 guide or 3.55 like last time?
