Can I downgrade my PS3 CECH-3002B with E3 Flasher or Progskeet?

Hi, I have a PS3 320GB. The model is CECH-3002B.
I have attempted a jailbreak from OFW 4.11(?) and ended up with CFW 4.31. I want to downgrade to OFW 3.55 etc.
Can I downgrade it with an E3 Flasher or Progskeet?
I am waiting for the answers. Thank you.

Brainfsck

So I was pissing around with the NoRSX PCEMU and wrote a simple brainfsck interpreter(loosely inspired by bfdev). After testing I started to think that with only 8 commands, a ps3 controller and a large screen could be the best(or at the least the most interesting) method to write brainfsck programs.

I never seriously intended to make this so it's just a quick and dirty interpreter right now, but if anyone else seriously finds the idea interesting then I'll put it together. Brainfsck could use another system under it's belt anyway(technically otheros++ does allow this, but I've never heard of anyone putting brainfsck on it)

Meh, I'm too sleep deprived. I'll probably be pissed at myself for asking others for validation of my ideas once I'm more alive, but for now any opinions?

Hello fellow PS3 users!
First off, I'm new to all this jailbroken, downgrading etc

I have plenty of mpeg-2 video files on my fat32 external hdd
But it quite simply cannot play or transfer over to ps3.
Haven't downgraded or jailbroken my fat ps3 yet.

Which file should I download for this type of files to work?

Hey Guys I found a way to get Package files on Ps3 BUT I NEED SOME PEOPLE WHO COULD HELP ME. IM ON OFW 4.40

And this has no piracy because i do Not have the private keys and i have the old metldr.

ok when i run a package it works for 3secs then it takes me back to the Ps3 Menu. thats what i need help with.Will be posting this on youtube ok

So I thought it would be a good place to start!

I signed up because I have a single issue, and I tend to think things are so complicated when it really could all make sense. I kinda need a hand in making sense of a lot of things. Including taxes. (Who doesn't, though?)

I have a 120GB fat PS3 that I've kept up to date and received a Capture card that is messed over by the HDCP dealie.

Now, I've read a lot about people getting banned for turning that off, but I can't help but think there's a way around that. Because I simply want to be able to play 1080p and stream it, too. Not too sure I can agree with Sony not letting me have the cake and eat it, too.

Hello... I recently got my ps3 downgraded by a man and he jailbreaked it in a 4.31v2cfwrogero... Now I'm thinking if it's really a 4.31v2rogero because in my multiman 4.20.00base it says that it is a 4.30[BR-ROM EMULATOR] now I want to know if I can update it to 4.40rogero or 4.40miratijela??? I don't know which is better in those two..

So, recently my BR-Drive burnt out on my old, fat CECHB00 launch model. I sent it in to Sony Japan and they sent me a Super Slim as replacement... and a few days later I also received my old PS3. Being lucky, I decided to try my hand at hacking the old system considering I never have to worry about OFW updates as it isn't wireless and won't be hard-lined to the internet. It's currently at a 4.30 update and I know I need to get it to a 3.55.

I've done a lot of research the last few weeks in this regard. Originally, I was going to try an E3 Flasher as their website says it works on ALL fat PS3s... which I don't think is the case as mine is a NAND system. I've been looking around for alternates and came across the Progskeet v1.2. I was excited because it mentioned that it was solderless, which would be preferred as I don't have the materials and I haven't soldered anything since Tech. Ed. in high school.

Does anyone know if it is truly solderless? I found a kit online (I can't post the link) but I couldn't find any confirmation. When I researched it, some others said that you actually do have to solder it and others said you don't; however, you do have to make a female cable for the PCB. Does anyone have any insight or advice? Thanks in advance.

Hi hope someone here can help me.
I have a ps3 slim down-gradable to 3.4x and E3 flasher + Eclips3.

I recently updated to OFW 4.30 cuz of some problems and after the update everything was working perfect.
Then today when i was trying to downgrade with E3 and Eclips3.
Everything was working perfectly i loaded the NOR with a BwE patched bin file that i dumped that was 100% in order.

But after i "jig"ed my ps3 with my eclips3 with the latest downgrade patch it wont start. I did the power eject sequence and it(eclips3) turned first red then green then the system turned of as it should. But after that it will only turn on for a few moments then just turn off... Wont update from usb with the Lv2diag.self File 1 and rogero 3.55 cfw that is made to downgrade from any firmware.

The CFWs full name is "Rogero_CFW_V34_KmeawLV2_LV1Patches_4.20spoof_PSN-access_NoBD.PUP"

Any tips or am i screwed?

I got out of it by using the lv2diag.self file 2, but how can i downgrade? im i using the wrong CFW to downgrade with?

Just a fast question im not sure if im just stupid but when you enter Factory/service mode on a higher firmware (4.30) will it just turn of after 10 something seconds or will it show anything special on the screen ?

I am very new to jail breaking ps3..and I am currently not buying any ps3 games because I am saving money for PS4. But I want to play games on this and I really want to jail break..But first...How do I downgrade 4.40 ofw to 3.55 cfw? Is E3 Flasher the only way..and if it is where can i get it?

REBUG 4.30.2 HDD upgrade

Hi All,

I am trying to upgrade my hard drive from a 250gb to a 1tb.
Remove the 250gb and install the 1tb
put the REBUG_4.30.2_REX_PS3UPDAT.PUP on a fat32 usb pen in PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP
and switch on and the ps3 tells me to plug controller in with charging lead
formats hdd and reboots
then says PS3 System Software Version 4.30.2 REBUG RE Press the PS Button
Checking for Update
then The data is corrupt (8002F235) every timeI have tried 2 different usb pens both reformatted to fat32

Not sure what to do now, if i replace my 250gb hdd all works ok

This console has the BD drive logic board broken and don't run packages. so i can't run toggle_qa...


How can I remarry a new logic board? i'm on rogero 3.55 v3.7 -
