So, after ~2 years on 3.41 and seeing how most 3.41 support has dissipated, I've decided to bite the bullet and update from Rebug 3.41 to Rebug 3.55
Oh, I guess I should say my PS3 is a Phat 80Gb CECHK01, incase its relevant.
Before I do so, I have a few questions to ask.
1) I have enabled the QA flag on my PS3 using Team Rebug's Toggle QA Tool. Should I unflag this before I update?
2) I take it I am to disable Rebug mode and return to Normal mode using the Rebug Selector prior to updating?
3) When I update, should I do so in the recovery menu?
4) Do I need to install OFW 3.41 prior to updating to 3.55, and do I need to install OFW 3.55, or may I update directly from Rebug 3.41 into Rebug 3.55?
5) I recall Rebug 3.55.2 having RSOD and crashing issues without installing the Rebug update package, so, am I to install the update in Normal mode immediately after updating to Rebug 3.55?
6) Does the newest version of multiman (4.02.00) work on Rebug 3.55.2?
7) In regards to all my currently stored game backups, will I need to rerip my titles and/or edit the eboots to accommodate this new version?
8) Similarly, will I need to reinstall game installer data?
9) Is there any risk to my activated DLC content?
