Today I have decided to finally get myself CFW on my PS3 phat, but I'm stuck.
My current PS3 is 3.50OFW, I tried to put the 3.55OFW update on 3 different USB sticks and 1 HDD without luck, not a single thing was registered and I couldn't do System Update>Local Storage Thing, nor could I do a System Update in Safe Mode (the "two beep" mode).
This is the 3.55 OFW from this site, and right now I'm downloading it again just in case, and another from Mediafire in case its broken.
I also tried going straight for Rogero 4.40CFW but it didn't register it again. I tried all 4 ports.
The folders I used are F:/PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP
I did a system setting restore, but still the same.
Can anyone help and point me out what am I doing wrong? Do I need to do something special that I haven't?
