ok, so i got an 80gb phat ps3 off ebay about 2 weeks ago, it was on 3.01 and i installed 4.40 rogero cfw (upgraded the HDD too, 160gb) on it and all has been fine until tonight. i was having network errors that happened multiple times before and was always solved by turning the system off and then back on, but when i went to do that it wouldn't turn back on and had the YLOD. i left it unplugged for a couple hours and then came back to it,removing the HDD first i turned on and it didnt YLOD on me so i shut it off, put the HDD back in, started it and got to the xmb for about 10 seconds before shutting off again with YLOD. im assuming i should replace the thermal paste to fix it, but im not %100 sure, so, what should i do from here?
