Replaced thermal paste to fix overheating. Now has RLOD.

Hey all,

So I recently got a used PS3 (fat 80gb) for cheap and it started overheating like crazy. Replaced thermal compound, was good for a little bit then fan went to max again, and now it has RLOD.

What should be my next steps? Send to repair? Throw out?
