King County sheriffâs detectives are asking for the publicâs help in figuring out who stole more than 7,000 Wii game consoles worth $2 million from a distributing warehouse in SeaTac last weekend.Source
The thefts occurred between 9 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday, according to employees at Seattle Air Cargo. The warehouse is located in the 19100 block of Des Moines Memorial Drive.
Detectives said thieves used forklifts to load two 53-foot trailers and a box van with 64 pallets of Wii game consoles.
Both trailers were white and had the name McKinney written on the side. The license plate numbers were 4HB3365 and 4EA5521. The trailer license plate numbers were 533457 and 531841. The box van had an âinternationalâ Washington plate number B40622K.
Anyone with information on the thefts or vehicles are asked to call the King County Sheriffâs Office at 206-296-3311.
