PSP Games don't work (80029537)

Hi, have this error message everytime i trying to start any psp game: "An error occurred during the start operation (80029537)"

I tried to start them through webMAN, Multiman and converting .iso files into .pkg (psp remastered / minis)

The games i tried to play:
Metal Slug XX
Half-Minute Hero
Retro City Rampage DX

I have CFW 4.81 Ferrox

I have a Jail Broken ps3 for Grand Theft Auto 5 .. I have the mod Menu .. When I turn on the ps3 I get this Message>> The Latest update Data for the software
has been found. To sign in and use this soaftware YOU must Update the software to the latest Version. The system will quit and start Installing. Version 1.27

Can I up date this??????? I was told to never to update. I NEED TO GET BACK ONLINE.. HELP PLEASE ..

Possible to add SMAA or FXAA to PS3 games using homebrew?

New here! Hi guys.

So yeah, my question: Could theoretically PS3 games (using some Homebrew app) be able to be "injected" with SMAA or FXAA? Thing is, I have used SMAA injectors on many PC games that have no form of antialising available!! Even old pain in the butt games.

I have even used SMAA on emulators that are known for being a pain in the ass, like Dreamcast emulators and such.

I know that at least the tool I use, which is mrhaandi's SMAA injector, works on DX9, DX10, DX11 and OpenGL. Maybe using this tool on OpenGL mode could work on PS3 games? Patching them on start up.

Any thought? Or this type of Homebrew is simply not possible? What I think is that if coders have access to the entire tree of features and libraries, etc. that the PS3 uses, this could be possible. If they don't then is not possible.

So again, anybody? I will love to hear what you guys think and "know" about this type of things

Some additional questions about performing a System Transfer

I have two PS3 systems, both the same model and on both on the same version of the ReBug CFW.

I have been trying to research what would be the best way to clone one system to the other, and from what I have gathered, the best way to do this is the official System Transfer feature, which apparently just copies most of the HDD over, including homebrew and installed games (supposedly?). From my understanding, this will transfer everything over while keeping all the original data on the original PS3 except for two things:

1. Trophies, which will remain on the original system.

2. Locked saves, which will be moved to the new system and deleted from the original.

And I would like to know if there is anything I can do about these two.


Trophies:
The most common answer for trophies I get is "just sync them to your account", which is not possible as both the PS3s are on CFW. All these were created back on my main PSN account long before I hacked the PS3, and I also use that account on my PS4, so I don't want to risk it being banned.

I tried to Google information about this, and found some mention of copying some files over and then running a database rebuild to fix the trophies, and that makes them display.... but this method doesn't really work, as attempting to play a game after this this will have it complain that your trophies are corrupt and reset them to nothing. This information was also several years old and I couldn't find anything newer.

Is anyone aware of ANY way to copy or manage trophies from one system to another? Any homebrew apps or anything for this?


Locked saves:
Would the locked saves be in any way keyed or encrypted or something to the system they are on? Or would I be able to use homebrew apps to just copy them back? If so, are there any apps designed for the copying or possibly even removing the locked status of these saves?


One last thing I wanted to ask:
The reason I want to clone the system is because my old PS3 is having CPU overheating issues, and I haven't been able to fix it nor find someone who could, so I bought another used PS3 that was exactly the same, put CFW on it, and am going to clone the old PS3 to the new one. Is anyone aware if the transfer process is CPU intensive? The harddrive is 1TB and mostly full, so it's going to take several hours. If it puts a large load on the CPU during this process I am worried the old system might give out before the transfer can be finished.

got this from a customer . for repairs i did . put it on my machine let it run reflow process to rsx chip and cleaned board up. removed both ihs put fresh paste.under and on top. booted console to ps3 dashboard . on dash 3.66:afraid: . anyway tested blu-ray drive there was a dvd stuck in there removed and reset drive all ok plays dvd blu- ray movies ps3 games and ps3 games . here comes the problem put eveything back together and what do u know yellow light with something smell like it burned took lid off inspect everything and turn it back on booted to dash . blu- ray drives not working . i wonder if that smell was the blu-ray drive . it wont except disc or play anything im gonna take it apart and look in suggestion on what i could check to see what had fried maybe . sucks lol

also the teesny board can someone tell me where does the 100nf and 10uf caps go underneath the pcb board or does it matter thanks in advance

Trouble with PS3 Slim (CECH-2104B)

Hello all, I am new here and I hope you can help me with my PS3 Slim. Let me tell you the story.

Yesterday I tried to dumb my NOR mem. with and E3 Flasher (getting bad dumps and bad dumps but that's not why I post here) and after a moment. My PS3 does not boot.
When I press the Power button, it starts for about 2 seconds (we hear the fan and the LED ligths green) and then all is shutting down and the PS3 "beeps" 3 times and the LED is red blincking.

I think it is a YLOD, so I tried to replace the power supply with and ATX power supply, the problem is still the same. I read a lot of things about the CPU and GPU solders but nothing very precise so I hope finding a solution here and fix my PS3 to end with flashing it :itsme:

GLOD After downgrade

Now.... this is the first GLOD for me :/

I did an off board dump of the NOR and patched it to 4.50 noFSM
After soldering everything back, the system turns on and I get a GLOD. No notification lights and if I press the power button, after about 10 seconds I hear 1 beep and the system turns off. No matter how many times I press & hold the power button, all I hear is 1 beep and unit shuts down. No recovery menu either.

So I thought it was a bad patch, dumped it again and patched it to 3.55 FSM and still get the GLOD. Ugh... flashed the original dump and still have a GLOD. I think this might be the first unit that "breaks" in my hands lol.

Crap. Aren't GLOD software related? If I managed to crack a solder ball underneath the CPU/GPU, wouldn't the system give me a YLOD? I don't know any trust worthy person in Toronto that does proper reball repairs.

PS: I forgot to add, the NOR dump is 100% valid before and after patching it.

Any ideas?

External transferring to Internal

I went back a few pages and couldn't find what I'm asking specificly. (The question in bold is what I couldn't find)
Quick questions.

I Installed a game into a 2nd console running rebug 4.80. Rex/CEX using multiman of course....everything up to date.
Copied it into the dev_hddo/GAMES/(title of the game) folder.
Copy came from 1st console's internal which was backed up from game disc. (dont have disc anymore)

*So bottom line, copied from 1st console's internal to an external then turned around and copied from external into 2nd console's internal*
On the 1st console (which i've used longer) there is also a "dev_hddo/game/(with the games id blusxxxxx)"

So my questions is did I copy into the right folder (GAMES)??
If so then when or how does the id blusxxxxx game folder go into"dev_hddo/game/" ?

I hope I'm making sense.

It's now on Rogero 3.55, and qa toggle done, and verified.

Can't seem to find any post which make some sense about installing Rebug now?

Alright guys need some help please.

Its been a while since I posted but I keep up to date with most stuff. So before we get into it let me provide you on what Im running here.

The Latest Rebug CEX & Latest Multiman also Have a Slim with Rogero (Dont Ask)

Hard-Drive in question is WD My Passport 3TB

I have tried multiple of ways to format the drive to which non have seem to be recognized by multiman.
Ease
GUI Formater
AOMEI

Formatted it several times in FAT32 and no dice.

When I bought the console, the original disk required to run the game, but I do not need it now because I update the console. Now I could to sell the original disc? I do not need it again?

Yes, it's still onboard, and I have used it to check if the firmware was corrupted verifying it with my personal dump

Have you tried searching the forum for someone experiencing the same problem before posting?
Yes but I still haven't found relationship about my issue

Describe your problem:

Removed the HDD to clone it for upgrading PS3 storage, inserted the new one, yellow led, three beep, red led continuosly flashing.
Tried putting on the old one, same issue.
Never had YLOD problem.

What have you tried to do to resolve this issue yourself:

Contact cleaner on HDD pins, tried to clean PS3 hdd pin.
Checked if NOR firmware was corrupted
Tried to enter the safe mode (nope)
Without HDD the console notices that there is no HDD
Tried external hdd with update.pup
Formatted HDD


Any hint guys?

Gta 5 eboot, rpf and sprx files

Hey guys probably a dumb question but do eboot, rpf and sprx make online work properly? Earlier today i had wildemodz menu which included eboot, rpf and sprx but because when i tried to do a recovery on my character and change my rank the game kept freezing so i changed the eboot and sprx and not the rpf, but when i changed that i couldn't get online at all Is this something to do with the rpf being different?
