I have been playing black ops 2 alot but now when i try to load black ops 2 i get a message saying (This console device has been permanently banned from playing call of duty black ops 2 online due to violation) My console id is not banned, I changed mac adress, Changed PSID. And my OFW still loads black ops 2 with no problems. Im currently on PS3ITA 4.21 any help would be appreciated

I am playing PS2 games on my PS3 ( CFW 4.46 ) . The ps2 game is running fine but not in full screen mode .

Removing Censor From The Last Of Us?
Hey there everyone!
I am all new to this forum, so sorry if this is a stupid question or answer is already out there.
The thing is I have been playing The Last Of Us, for some time now.
I live in Europe and therefore I am playing the "PAL" version of the game (100% Legal Copy).
I noticed after watching a walkthrough on Youtube, that the animations and the level of blood and gore were a lot more on a NTSC version of the game, than on mine.
So i did some research on it, and I noticed that I was right, apparently there had been quite a fuzz about it.
So I was wondering, if there was a patch or something I could replace in order to remove the restrictions from the game?
I have a OFW ps3 on 4.46, and then I have a CFW one with Rogero's 4.46 v1, I was curious if I could replace it somehow on the CFW one?
I really hope that someone can answer me/help me with this, cause I feel kinda I'm not experiencing the "real" game at the moment.

Red Dead Redemption Black Screen
Hi, I am using the latest version of Multiman and REBUG 4.41.3 LITE EDITION firmware. I used ftp to transfer red dead redemption: undead nightmare to the ps3 to dev_hdd0/GAMEZ
I checked the ps3 compatibility list and did not update the game as it says. I have a disc in the tray and tried different variants of settings in mulitman.
The game boots and shows two Rockstar logos but freezes on a black screen when trying to go to the main menu.
I am able to play other games like Resistance, Tomb Raider, etc.
Am I missing something? Any help is appreciated.

Assembly EBOOT.elf
Hello. I have a quick question I hope someone can answer. This may be silly question!
How can I modify the assembly code of the eboot.elf (it is decoded since I have it loaded into IDA). Ive been looking at the hex but it seems like gibberish if I am looking at it through a hex editor (xo plugin seems to make sense of it in IDA...)
Maybe I am doing something wrong, but is there some program that will allow me to add my own assembly code to the eboot for hacking and then recompile it to a .bin!?

The Last Of Us - The dreaded pak23.psarc file
I am trying to play TLOF. But there is a file called pak23.psarc that is literally 10 gigs. Which is a huge problem. You can't fit anything higher than 4 Gigs on FAT32. I heard some people had the same thing but I had no answers found. And another unpassable hurdle is that Sony didn't have the brains to let it read NTFS. How can I get around this? And how do people even PLAY it? :banghead:

How to use:
Read the intruction carefully. Use at your own risk. I dont responsible for
any bricks if you do not follow step by steps below.
1. You must use Rogero 4.46 or Habib 4.46 CFW
2. Dump/back up your PS3 flash using multiMAN (you can googling it to find how).
3. Make back up of sys_init_osd.self
How to : using multiMAN mmOS on PS3, navigate to dev_flash/sys/internal and find file named:
sys_init_osd.self. Copy this file to your USB or your PC and safe it in secure location.
4. Extract rogero patcher.zip on your PC. You will find 2 files : sys_init_osd.self and sm.self.
5. Now using multiMAN, enable write access to dev_flash (on multiMAN,
go to Settings -> Write Access to /dev_flash -> Enable
6. Copy sys_init_osd.self on folder patch cfw from test file to your PS3. Copy it to:
dev_blind/sys/internal (replace the old sys_init_osd.self).
7. Copy sm.self on folder fan control from test file to your PS3. Copy it to the root of dev_blind.
8. Turn off your PS3, unplug all usb drive.
9. Turn on your PS3.
10. Check your PS3 Power Indicator LED, if it is yellow (with green LED after few seconds then yellow again);
it indicates that the fan control is working fine.If your PS3 cannot boot to XMB; it indicates your PS3 is
semi brick and you cannot use CFW Tools because it is not compatible with your PS3.
11. I also include core for fast booting, copy flags Folder into Root of a FAT32 Flash memory.
Turn off your Ps3
Connect your Flash memory to the nearest port to Blu-ray drive.
now Turn on your PS3
This greatly improves the boot time.
NOTE: YOU CAN USE THIS PATCHER FOR FREE, but....

Weird Display Problem
So I have had my PS3 hooked up to my Samsung SyncMaster PX2370 by HDMI cable for some time now with absolutely no problems. Yesterday, I wanted to watch something from my laptop on another TV downstairs, so I unplugged my HDMI cable from my PS3 and Samsung and took it downstairs to hook up my laptop to TV. When I was done, I came back upstairs, plugged my HDMI cable back into my PS3 and Samsung and when I turned my PS3 on the screen was all scrambled. I've restarted all of the devices in question, I've checked all the ports for dust, I've done the restart thing with holding the button down on the PS3 and waiting for the beeps. I can use the PS3 but only in 480p, anytime I change the display setting output to anything HD it goes back to being scrambled. What the Hell could have happened to do this in just using the HDMI cable on a different device? I am at a complete loss for what to do or what could possibly have gone wrong. Please help. Thank you.

Ok so I managed to solder 3k3y adapter on mother board, and now when I start my ps3 super slim. It doesn't show disc drive and 3k3y only shows red light. LED1 doesn't blink at all.

How to use proxies to block Sony's websites?

Cheesethief mentioned that you can use a proxy like Fiddler or Charles, so you can block those websites and access homebrew apps that require a connection safely (without having to worry about Sony's banhammer).

Moved games from my Internal HDD to External HDD and it says Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the patriots (split) in multiman i dont get it?
