Need help with OFW 3.70

Hey I'm kinda new to this so pardon me if I use incorrect terminologies or whatever.

I have right now PS3 with OFW 3.70 firmware and I want to run CFW 3.55.2 Firmware almost solely for the Cinavia fix. I downloaded Rebug 3.55.2 and than ran it under system update, but at about 73% it said data corrupted.


Just wondering if I can go from OFW 3.70 to CFW 3.55.2 without taking apart my console and soldering.
