low back up data speed!

hi! my ps3 will back up data at 2-3 mb/s which is very low. at first i thought it was the hdd so i switch it and still the same problem. I tried it to back up from bluray driver & external hdd and again the still speed. can anyone explain it?
i have slim ps3, 3.55 kmeaw cfw and latest multiman.
