I m new in this forum and I want immediately to excuse for my bad english...
I have a question for you... We can look into a pup file and we can extract the pkg in it... When i did it i saw that some pkg from the 4.11 ofw have the same weight of the one from 3.55 ofw or kmeaw cfw so i checked the md5 and i saw they're different and i checked it also with an hex editor. But I also remember that for zip or compressed file if we have the original not encrypted file and the encrypted one we can found easily the password used for encrypt it so now i know that also pkg on 3.55 are encrypted, but if we can encrypt them the same way ofw 4.11 is done, so we can change the file in update.tar with the new one from fw 3.55 and downgrade deceiving ps3 we are updating... it may works if the ps3 checks the version from vsh.self file (i'm not sure it's still so) and need the file (i don't know why) crypted in the "4.11 way"
