Sorry for the noob question. My friend wants to upgrade his 3.55 Kmeaw PS3 (his loss, lol) to the current firmware. He also wants to go onto PSN once he does that.
Are there any programs out there that wipe everything? I mean, I know he's had SNES roms on there, and backup managers, but after manually deleting those, is there anything else needed to be done? Also, any stories of anyone doing this and being ok?
I know he went online with the 3.41 and dongle, or maybe 3.55 Kmeaw back months ago when it was possible, just to redownload his PSN game licenses (legit games he bought). Not sure if Sony flagged him like MS does. Anyone know if he's at risk for a ban? Thanks for any info.
