OK recently I had a guy fix My YLOD ps3 Fat. Now he has it up and completly running perfectly fine for the most part, but I've noticed i cant get online it would fail and can never connect through a ethernet. It would say theres no ethernet detected but it is plugged in tightly and secure on both ends I even can play online on my other ps3 slim so there's nothing wrong with it. but it gives me a PS3 error code of 80010201 each time did research on it found numerous reasons but after I tried to install latest firmware which is 4.11 this ps3 was at firmware before 3.01 but when I tried to update it would fail and go into a loop of trying to install and failed cut off try again failed cant even go into safe mode I. Get a Error code of 8012f19 it would load up to 74% of the update then crash. I eventually took the HDD out of the ps3 wipe it clean reformatted in FAT32 on the cpu.I re installed the drive and plugged in my usb drive with 4.11 to update it and install but it recongnizes the update and tries to update and goes into a loop again now i'm currently on the level of opening it up checking all the upper layer connections ribbon cables an all making sure everything secure but if anyone else has delt with this and have a fix to this can they give me a Idea or direction to tackle this issue or a complete resolution to this issue I would greatly appreciate this and the model of the ps3 is a fat org 80 gb with ps2 compatibility.
