Skyrim and Jailbreak!!

Hi im new here and im wondering if there is anyway to downgrade from 4.11 to the 3.55 firmware so i can jailbreak that firmware. I was also wondering what is the big deal about the 3.55 cfw? all i want is just to be able to put as many mods as possible onto my games. Especially skyrim and just cause 2. I heard that it is possible to convert pc mods to the ps3 on just cause 2. Please somebody help! What do i need to do to be able to mod games such as skyrim! and what is so special about certian custom firmwares?
