Update Problem

Hello Guys , i just bought a ps3 160gb slim , i put my Battelfield cd and Fifa 12 .
When i pres start to play the game on my screen show up this thing .

The system software of your ps3 system is 3.65<
To start you must update to version 3.72 or later
Do you want to update now ? YES NO .

i dont wanna update cuz i think im gonna jailbrake my ps3 .
Soo i pres NO , than this text comes on my screen <
YOU WILL NEED TO UPDATE THE SYSEM SOFTWARE BEFORE YOUR NEXT USE .
and i cant play the game .

I DONT HAVE INTERNET AND I DONT WANNA UPDATE MY PS3.<
WHAT I SHOULD DO . plz helpp
