PS2 games on non backwards compatible PS3

OK,
I have been reading and trying to understand this. I would like to play Unreal tournament on my PS3(I have the ISO) but not sure if it's possible. I have tried the whole reactpsn with PS2 Classic but didn't work. Also I should mention I have a CECHH01 and it is console banned. So am I SOL or are there options?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
