[Q]Teensy++ with NANDWay

Hi all,

I just got my teensy++, regulator and my tsop 360 nand clip. I'm ready to install but I'm running into problems.

I haven't installed anything yet!

But here is my question,
Do I need to power on the ps3? Or just by having it plugged in(With the ps3 red light on) is fine to use NANDWay to read and flash?

My PS3 model is CECHA01 (Yep, one of the first models :) )
