PS3 Phat system
History of the console.
Update had failed which led to a 8002F2C5 and 8002F225. This is how the console was when I got it in my hands. Tried all attempts of recovery etc with various updates and it would get the same error code.
So I was thinking this was a DEMO/KIOSK console and tried to update with a reverter pup. No luck.
Figured I would dump the NOR at this point and do the regular downgrade procedure I always do.
Dumped NOR, checked NOR all files we're intact so went ahead with downgrade. Get out of FSM and bam RSOD.
Now I've gotten myself out of this before, but only issue is I can't enter Recovery mode via power button or FSM dongle.
So I figure what the hell I'll write the Orig NOR back and start over or even for that matter write the RSOD pup to the NOR via E3 Flasher. Well console won't stay powered on if I remove the hard drive. I have the SATA Docking station so that is a no go....
So yes, console will stay on if I have the hard drive plugged in, will power off after a few seconds if I leave the hard drive out.
Only option I can think at this point is getting a damn esata docking station.
@Bigbones87 maybe you have an idea or 2.
