i stumbled on this little hack the other day, well multiman loads the "18in1 ps1 cheat disc" (google it..sneso..cach, cough) with cobra you should be able to start it from the .iso (not sure how cheats would work) without cobra (like me) you'll have to burn it to a cd... strangely "One" failed at booting it but multiman works?!?
right load it up with mutiman and you get a few cheat apps .. i know that some give black screen but memory card manager and xploder cd9000 v4 do work.

you can edit your vmc, ps1classic saves full format, unformat, delete saves the whole kit..
xploder cd9000 v4
cool cheat app, but i've not tested it much but boots backups from disc , cheats do not seem to work. i just figured this is all good info to put out on a new thread. so everyone can give there views and help on the subject and PS1 vmc management is worth it ;)
i've only browsed over these two apps so use with caution.
