I've recently bought a phat ps3 40gb (cechg04) with rogero 4.3 v2.05 and keep getting error 80010514 registration of trophy information failed every time i try to play a backup (regardless if it requires a game disc or not) or or original game that has trophies. The blu-ray drive works properly as trophyless games (i have MGS4) work without problems.
So far I've tried the following and nothing works:
1. Downgrading to OFW 3.55 and going to Kmeaw 3.55 / rebug 4.30.1 / rogero 4.30 v2.03 / rogero 4.30 v2.05
2. In ps3 boot menu rebuild database, remake file system, restore ps3 (with hdd wipe)
3. Upgrading to a different hdd.
The only thing that seemed to show a difference was deleting the trophy data from the backup it's self. In that case the error remained but had a different error code an in the case of a single game the error disappeared.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
