Ok, so I know there are many different models of PS3 out there,
the origional release ps3's had additional hardware that allowed for people to play ps2 games which was removed and the next models fully emulated the ps2 games, then it was removed alltogether and the newer model ps3's just can't play ps2 games at all.
So my stupid question of the day - shouldn't it be possible to grab the files/programing needed from the models that emulated ps2 games and transfer them to a ps3 that originally couldn't play ps2 games?
