Changing thermal compound under CPU & GPU Heat Plate

Hi,

I need to change the thermal paste under the CPU & GPU Thermal plate. I've seen few videos on how to remove the plate so I will follow how they did. However, they don't tell how to put the plate back.

With what do the plate stick? Only Thermal Compound or there are glues?

PS: I am not reballing the PS3 and I don't have the equipment for it either. It is just that after changing the thermal compound on the CPU & GPU, it still heat a lot and the fans are really loud.
