Hi all, so I have my progskeet v1.1 on its way in the post. And the seller has advised me there is no need for injectus to program it as it is already done. I have managed to get my self a ylod ps3 with the warranty sticker still intact for £25 (I'm thinking bargain) I'm gonna give that a fix with copper shims and mx-4 paste. Any comments on this idea would be helpful? Is this the best fix? I have done a ylod fix before using a silver compound not mx-4 and no shim. This only lasted a few months. I've got a great fool proof tut for downgrading with the 360 clip showing that I have to cut some grooves in to one for it to fit on to one of the nands to get a good connection (From this site of course). Is it best to use clips or would people advise me to solder to the board? Also if anyone has used the clips to do this process are they any good? And when I purchase them do I need to buy 2 or do they come in packs of 2? Where is the best place to get them? I was looking at mrmodchips uk he has two types which is the best? Sorry about all the noob questions but we all need to start somewhere. And this looks like a good site to get some top info! Thanx for taking the time to read this and I look for to some replies!
