My External Hard Drive is not showing in PS3

I've tried everything Formatted my HDD to Fat 32 and Made a Folder as GAMES first tried, Result=Nothing than as GAMEZ still nothing, Tried both of them Nothing worked, Disconnected the HDD while on XMB and Turned off the PS3 and Reconnected my HDD, Still nothing.
Help me please!
Additional Information that I can give you all is, My MultiMan version is 04.00.00
and Firmware is something, Hermes 3.55
