SOPA-
The Stop Online Piracy Act aka S.O.P.A will make Search engines (Google etc.) remove all references to the sites that contain user content (music, movies ect.). payment providers like Paypal will be made to no longer supply you with that service. Google AdSense will have to stop providing ad service to you're site. Basically this bill will give the attorney general power censor foreign sites that the U.S Government does not have rights to take down. This has already started in a sense, MegaUpload is gone.FileSonic has terminated it's sharing functionality. That is just the beginning. It could also take down site such as The Pirate bay, Twitter Functions, Facebook Functions, tumblr, Youtube, ect. any sites with piracy upload download features and sharing features.
ACTA-
The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement aka A.C.T.A, is an trade agreement that is in negotiation in the following country's, the United States, Australia, South Korea, South Korea, Japan, the European Union, Canada. The bill is trying to enforcing copyright and take down counterfeited stuff. They want to force countries to make anti file-sharing policies basically we would never be aloud to share. They are also talking about being able to search your multimedia device (Ipod, mp3, phones ect.) For illegal/riped content and request proof of purchase and possibly sue you.
