Some basic questions about Backups running on 4.30

Hey guys, funny that I finally need to post something in this forums :P.

So, at the moment Im still on 3.55 kmeaw and I dont think, that I need help on updating to the new 4.30 Rogero CFW cause of the very detailed guides.
But because I stopped following the scene a few months ago (I thought that there wouldnt happen any special steps anymore) Ive not that much "knowledge" anymore. In general I only use my PS3 for using the great Showtime center - the games are not so interesting for me.
But yesterday I decided to play Uncharted again and damn! My ****ing drive is so loud, unbelievable. So, cause I wanted to play Uncharted 3 anyway (and needed to update therefore), I thought Id prefer to start the game from my HDD.

And now heres the question, lol:
The guides say, every backup which is signed with the 4.30 keys will work on the CFW. But when I copy a game (in this case Uncharted 3) from my disc to the HDD, will it run with multiMAN as well? Or do I have to patch the eboot? And if so: is it possible to patch it with multiMAN or do I need to patch it on my own via my pc?
