noob looking for a mentor

looking for someone to help me. been reading the tuts on here but they are really confusing ie downgrading is out of date :dontknow: helpfull. i'm not a total noob i've managed to flash my 360 by reading the tuts but ps3 is another story.

so here's what ive got PS3 slim 320Gb on dash 4.30

from what i can see i need to downgrade to 3.55 then 3.55cfm then onto 4.30cfw??????

any help would be great
