Rebug REX: reformat file system

Hi, i'm on Rebug REX 4.21.1 on a Slim CECH2511A and everything is working fine so far.

So, last night i wanted to play Silent Hill HD Collection, so i downloaded the 1.02 patch and installed it. THEN booted the game for the first time, installed required game data, and from the games menu, booted SH3 perfectly fine.

As i was playing the beggining of the game, i noticed i didn't had any trophy set installed for the game yet on my profile, so i quit game, checked SH2, same thing, no trophies.

Tried some other new game, installed trophies just fine. Moving on:

So then, i deleted the 1.02 patch from my ps3, booted the game in 1.00, reinstalled game data and tried to boot SH3 in hopes that the trophy set would install.

Just as i did that, my PS3 went straight to a 'recovery mode'-like screen telling me that my file system was corrupted and i had to reinstall 4.21 firmware. I obviously freaked out, as i was about to lose my CFW, or so i toguht...

As i plugged my ps3 controller in, the ps3 rebooted and it asked me to reformat the file system. I chose yes and it took 2-3 min and reformated it all.

My ps3 was just fine after that, didn't lose any data or anything. Now the question:

Did this happen to anybody else using Rebug 4.21, with this or any other game? Could it be an issue with the HD collection itself, as it is said to have a lot of bugs?

I'd really like some answers or reports from people who may have experienced the same, as i'm scared enough to not even boot the games right now. :dontknow:

PS: The game has it's original eboots and files in it, as i never actually patched it for older cfw.
